Introducing the Friends & Family Program
Hi! We’re Chris Pardee and Marcy Benson from Premier Real Estate Agency, and we’re proud to introduce our new Friends & Family Program. This innovative approach to home sales revolutionizes the selling process and provides maximum results to sellers for significantly reduced costs.
Here’s how it works: Through the Friends & Family Program, sellers pay a flat listing fee of $1500 plus a 1% seller’s broker commission at closing, empowering them to keep more of their profits. Plus, sellers have the flexibility to set the commission offered to the buyer’s broker, tailoring the selling process to their preferences and needs. Sellers gain the ability to streamline their property sale swiftly and effectively while retaining more of their hard-earned money.

Why Friends and Family
Real Estate Commissions Before the Friends & Family Program
Real Estate Commissions through the Friends & Family Program
We’re part of the community, and the community is part of us! We are committed to serving, making a positive impact, and investing in the growth, health, and wellbeing of our community. The Friends & Family Plan is our way of showing our appreciation for YOU – our friends and family.
The real estate market has changed dramatically over the past several years! We recognize that our past real estate commission structure no longer meets the needs of home sellers. We created the Friends & Family Program to address these evolving needs in today’s real estate market. Our goal is to empower sellers, like you, to have more control over the selling process, save money, and achieve your real estate goals more efficiently and effectively.
Our previous commission structure was based on a seller paying a 6% commission on their home’s final sales price: 3% commission to the seller’s broker and 3% commission to the buyer’s broker.
The Friends & Family Plan revolutionizes our previous real estate commission structure! Instead of paying 6% in seller’s broker and buyer’s broker commissions at closing, sellers through the Friends & Family Program pay a $1,500 fee to list their home and market it throughout our network, plus a simple 1% commission to the seller’s broker based on their property’s final sales price. Sellers also have full control over the commissions offered to the buyer’s broker, so they can offer a commission to the buyer’s broker that is most advantageous to their unique goals and circumstances.
The Friends & Family Plan gives sellers options! Sellers can use the money they save on seller’s broker commissions to meet their needs and goals. They can use it to purchase their next property, to make a deal more enticing for a buyer, for a seller’s assist, to pay bills, go on a vacation, save…literally however they choose.
It’s important to note that the Friends & Family Program may not be suitable for every seller. We will work with you to review your property’s market value and determine whether selling through this program makes sense for your unique situation. Your goals are OUR goals, and we’ll make sure to explain your options, allowing you to make an informed decision about whether selling your home through the Friends & Family Program aligns best with your objectives.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the Catch?
Rest assured, there’s no catch. Both Marcy and I are financially secure, enabling us to contribute positively to the community. As owners of our company, we retain 100% of our commission, as we don’t need to share it with a broker.
Will my property receive the same exposure as if we were paying a higher rate?
Yes! Your property will be featured across all our usual real estate marketing networks, including MLS, Realtor.com, Zillow, and 30+ other syndicate websites. We’ll employ an extensive marketing strategy, including advertisements in the Webb Weekly, postcard mailings, 3D virtual tours, and open houses.
Will other Realtors show my property?
Yes! Realtors adhere to stringent ethical standards set by local bylaws and the National Association of Realtors. Their commitment includes basic duties to their buyers, such as locating and showing desired houses. To help you maximize visibility and sales opportunities, we recommend sellers offer a buyer’s broker commission. We’ll work with you to help you determine the optimal commission to offer to the buyer’s broker that aligns with ethical standards, motivates agents to showcase your property to potential buyers, and meets your selling objectives.

What is a Buyer's Broker?
A Buyer’s Broker is a licensed real estate professional who represents the interests of someone who wants to purchase a property (a buyer) in a real estate transaction.
A Seller’s Broker, also referred to as a Listing Broker, represents the interests of the person who wants to sell a property (a seller) in a real estate transaction.
Both Buyer’s Brokers and Seller’s Brokers typically earn their commission from the seller’s proceeds, meaning their commissions are paid from the money the seller receives from the buyer for the property.
It’s important for both sellers and buyers to choose a reputable and experienced broker to guide them through the complexities of a real estate transaction and help them make informed decisions.
As a seller am I required to pay the Buyer's Broker fee?
No. It is not required. In a typical real estate transaction, there are usually two brokers involved: the Seller’s Broker and the Buyer’s Broker. It is customary for Sellers to pay the Buyer’s Broker commission, along with the Seller’s Broker commission, as part of the overall real estate transaction.
The commission for both brokers is usually negotiated and included in the listing agreement between the Seller and the Seller’s Broker. This commission is typically a percentage of the final sales price of a property. The Seller’s Broker markets the commission as an incentive to Buyer’s Brokers for bringing a buyer to the table.
It’s important to note that while a seller often pays the Buyer’s Broker commission, the Buyer’s Broker is obligated to represent the best interests of the buyer throughout the transaction. This arrangement is common practice in real estate transactions in many regions. It is important to note that commission structures may vary, so it is critical to discuss this with your Broker before listing your property for sale, to ensure your listing agreement includes a commission that aligns best with your objectives.
